Postdoctoral Associate (Experimental)
My group welcomes a postdoctoral associate to perform high-throughput sequencing experiments to study genome organization and gene regulation. Please e-mail Minji your CV, contact information of 3 referees, your research interests, and long-term career goals.
Graduate Students
If you are a graduate student enrolled in M.S., Ph.D., or MD-Ph.D. programs at the University of Michigan and want to study 3D genomics, gene regulation, or algorithms in the group, then please e-mail Minji your curriculum vitae (CV). Students in the Computational Medicine & Bioinformatics department or PIBS are strongly encouraged to contact me for opportunities to rotate in my group; those in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department looking for an advisor or a co-advisor are also welcomed.
Notes to rotation students:
I typically host only one rotation student at any given time, so please contact me early to secure a spot.
Feel free to e-mail my past rotation students and current members to share their experiences in the group, without informing me.
I value transparency not only in research but also in mentorship: I will try to inform rotation students the likelihood of extending offers to them by the end of the rotation term, and I plan to elicit the same level of honest feedback from students as well.
Undergraduate Students
I welcome undergraduate and Master's students in bioinformatics, computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, statistics, or related fields to join the group for a full-time summer research internship (typically 12 weeks or longer). Please e-mail your resume to Minji.
